About a week ago, I picked up Tomodachi Life, which is about similar to those Sims games but with its own impulsive, comical flair, and I really haven't put down the game much since then. If you've been following me on Miiverse, you'd know that it's also been an incredibly ridiculous experience for me, and there's always something going on that makes me burst out laughing. Seriously, I never laughed this much in my whole life in such a small period of time! This blog serves as a journal of sorts of what's been happening...
For the first day, I didn't really do much asides from establishing Cookie's Island: a soon-to-be home of a great amount of insanity! My first residents happened to be my brother, Reggie, Aonuma, and some fictional characters like Ike (or Ryu...). Speaking of which, both him and my avatar was set up on a date by my mischievous sibling, but we didn't hit it off much after we dated for a few days. Lame.
I wish I could've gotten this, but I had insufficient funds...
Before the day ended, I was introduced to one of the most hilarious aspects of the game, which are the Miis' dreams; they sure have quite the... uh... imagination, haha! The next day, Reggie takes the spotlight with his antics, and I discovered the result of giving a Mii their super-favorite food...
I heard you like boxes...
On the third day is when things become a lot more boisterous on Cookie's Island; I've introduced Sam, Anthony, Chrom, and Robin. Sam decided to get some extra sleep in the morning but was interrupted by ninjas in his dreams.
Happiness was rewarded with Midnight Kitty!
Even though I just dyed his hair upon his arrival, Chrom insisted on a bath. Waste of hair spray...
This is like that support conversation...
Anthony quickly made friends with everyone, except Chrom and Reggie for some reason; they keep fighting frequently. I tried to maintain a look he's most certainly familiar with, but he wanted a hat. I gave him one that spawns some... vivid memories. When night approached, Anth was already fast asleep, but he muttered his desire for world domination. I thought his face didn't match up with his goals, so I 'fixed' his visage.
Of course, more dreams; they kept getting more and more wackier...
So far, my reactions to the dreams look something like this:
I think I'll end it here for today; look forward to Part Two tomorrow!
