One thing I absolutely love about the Fire Emblem series is being able to consistently create a diverse cast of characters for each entry. There's always something that differentiates them from other characters of their own games and from even other entries, and it makes getting to know these characters an interesting and enjoyable experience. With this blog series, I hope to highlight some of my favorite characters of the franchise. :)

TanaName: Tana

Origin: Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones

Other interesting quirks:

+ Princess of Frelia and younger sibling to Prince Innes.

+ Close friends of Ephraim and Eirika and holds a romantic crush on the former.

Tana exudes a warm aura that allows just about anyone to open up to her, and she's always willing to help friends in need. On the other hand, she can stubbornly refuse assistance herself, and both of these traits, coupled with her determination, tends to lead her into trouble. Her cheery disposition is a stark contrast to her brother's callousness, but she still wishes that their bond would become as close as the Renais twins.

Despite being the Princess of Frelia, Tana was trained to become a Pegasus knight, and she studied under fellow comrades Vanessa and Syrene; she was especially inspired by the latter to reach her keep. While she is aware of her position as a princess, she still becomes upset whenever she is given special treatment due to her status.

The Frelian Princess met the Renais twins during a birthday celebration, and Tana quickly became fast friends of them, especially Eirika. Funnily enough, Ephraim did not recall their first encounter vividly, which earned him her ire. Nonetheless, she developed feelings for the crown-prince of Renais, getting every chance to converse with him about their past. As the war between the neighboring countries and the Grado Empire ensued, she joined up with Eirika and Ephraim to give them her fullest support, not wanting to be left behind while her brother and cherished friends fought.
