One thing I absolutely love about the Fire Emblem series is being able to consistently create a diverse cast of characters for each entry. There's always something that differentiates them from other characters of their own games and from even other entries, and it makes getting to know these characters an interesting and enjoyable experience. With this blog series, I hope to highlight some of my favorite characters of the franchise. :)

MorganName: Morgan

Origin: Fire Emblem: Awakening

Other interesting quirks:

+ Their birthday is on May 5th

+ The most shamelessly self-driven of all the Shepherds

+ Gender is dependent on the Avatar's gender.

There are plenty of qualities that both Morgans shares with their parent, the leading character of the title. Like their mother or father, they also suffered from amnesia, though the reason why is inexplicable. From their parents' exploits, they aspire to become full-fledged tacticians, and they go through great lengths to gain their approval and attention. Strangely, they don't remember much of their other parent, who the Avatar married;  they are determined to rectify this issue, even going as far as inflicting self-harm upon themselves.

Personality-wise, Morgan is the definition of optimistic. Incredibly chipper and positive, there is almost never an instant where the youthful tactician feels down. The amnesiac will always look into the brighter aspects of any given situation and make the best of it regardless. While both share their bizarre quirks, male Morgan is much more relaxed compared to his boisterous and sadistic female counterpart. Additionally, the Avatar's son partakes in Owain and Cynthia's antics, with the group known as the Justice Cabal.

Despite being the future child of the protagonist, Morgan doesn't recall ever traveling back in time along with Lucina and the second generation of Shepherds; it has been speculated that the young child hailed from a separate timeline from the other children. Nonetheless, the aspiring tactician was eager to join the Shepherds to prevent a dire future.
